Want to help, but can't get to the meetings?

Here's how:

Kit Bags  Sewing Instructions: Bright cotton print cut 27 x 13 inches.  Fold material in half, sew ½ inch side seams.  Sew 1 inch hem at top.  Leave opening each side for drawstrings.  MUST BE TWO DRAWSTRINGS.  Each drawstring must go completely around top of bag, starting and ending at same opening.  Twill tape or sewn bias tape is best material for drawstrings.  Completed bag measures 12” X 12”.                                                                                         Lap Robes May be pieced, patchwork, knitted or crocheted.    Sewn robes: Bright, colorful flannel or cotton washable material. Please, no slippery material.  One side print, one side plain.  Please, DO NOT USE BATTING OR HAND TIED KNOTS. Completed robes should measure 36 X 48 inches. Hand knitted or crocheted booties are also needed by all hospitals.                                        Coupon Clipping (Mailed to various Military Bases around the world)
  1. Clip manufacturer's coupons only - NO restaurant or specific store coupons like Publix or Wal-Mart, No mail-in rebates, etc.
  2. Cut the coupons close as we have to pay for the weight on shipping.
  3. Separate them into food (for human consumption) and non-food (includes pet food).
  4. Put them in price order and add up the total value.
  5. Put them into separate plastic zip bags marked food or non-food.
  6. Place a note in each bag stating your name, total amount of the coupons in the bag along with the number of minutes/hours you spent clipping and totaling.
PLEASE:  Do not donate uncut coupons or bags that are not separated or totaled.                                                                                                      Completed kit bags, lap robes or coupon packages can be brought to a meeting, dropped off at the Post or call Ruth, 874-5299, for pick-up.                         Thank You !!!!  Our Unit's success depends on you!
